Yes, I agree that it better conveys the seriousness of the situation, but they do have a separate category of missing persons cases called "Hague Case".  I just went back and looked again to see what category Devon's daughter is in and she's in the "Family Abduction" category where Sage also is.  I'm not sure where I saw "Endangered Missing" previously for Sage there.  I don't see it now.

Edit:

Now I know where I saw Endangered Missing.  It says it across the pdf copy of the poster that they sent me.

If there is no warrant out for the abductor and/or they cannot publicize the image of the abductor at the time, the poster gets called "Endangered Missing." The category "Hague Case" is rarely used, even in genuine Hague cases.

I did just get his NCMEC poster - http://www.missingkids.com/missingkids/servlet/PubCaseSearchServlet?act=viewPoster&caseNum=1104316&orgPrefix=NCMC&searchLang=en_US
Boy...this is something a person hopes they never have to see....your childs face on a missing persons poster.  It's been a little over a year now since she took off.  What a cute little boy.

Of the two current appeals in process the decision in the amparo indirecto got delayed again on Oct. 24th and has a new decision date of Nov 24th where they will either make a decision or delay it into Jan since December will be mostly vacation.  The amparo directo got outright rejected by the Federal Circuit court (rough equivalent of the TRF-2 that David is currently in) and sent to a lower federal court to be handled as an amparo indirecto which is something we never expected.  It's not at all clear at this point if that will prove to be good or bad for me (it has the potential to go either way) but it creates a lot of legal complications that need to be sorted through.  I can't comment on them in any detail though because I don't want to inadvertently give advice to the dark side.

I hope we hear some good news on your front by the end of November.  Seems like Mexico moves along faster than Brazil.

Yeah, I'm hoping to hear something substantive by the end of Nov or early Dec.  Though I have no expectation whatsoever that Sage will come home this year.

I think it's great that LBP's in Brazil have the option of using the AGU but from everything I've read and seen the slowness of Justice in Brazil is obscene.  I've had some long and frustrating delays but nothing like what Tim, Devon and David have gone through (and continue to go through) in Brazil :(

I know and it's just making me sick.  I feel so helpless and angry over the whole thing and don't know what more I can do.  I've been writing and calling and nothing is happening.  I feel so bad for all of you and I want to "fix" it all, but I can't.  It would be nice if we heard something on David's front this month, but it's not looking like we will.  In Feb. it will be a year that I have been here and I can't believe he's still in Brazil.  At least we do hear about your case and that keeps me going :)  So let's hope for some real good news for you!

Another hearing on the 15th.  The judge may make a decision at that time or defer the case for another month.  There doesn't appear to be any reason for deferring this time so I hope he will not but one can never be sure.
