Ariel Ayubo in Brazil Meets His Son, Lorenzo ... Finally!
« on: August 26, 2009, 01:13:56 PM »
Ariel flew to Brazil last Friday and has been visiting with Lorenzo.

Lorenzo has very little English but despite the years, he remembers his dad, Ariel.

I'll keep you posted as information comes in.

Ariel Ayubo flew to Brazil last Friday for a reunion with his son, Lorenzo.

Lorenzo was abducted from Florida, US to Brazil several years ago and this is the first time Lorenzo and Ariel have been able to meet since the abduction.

Lorenzo speaks little English BUT remembered his father!

I've written on the meeting with Ariel, Robert Skelton (another local father whose daughter was abducted to Europe) and myself the night before Ariel's flight - the link is here.

His return flight it tomorrow. Let's hope that the flight is as smooth as his trip seems to have been so far.

So glad that at least he saw his son.  So many parents fly over at great personal and financial cost and don't even get to see their children or have the court date they were appearing for rescheduled on the day of.

I spoke with Ariel yesterday - he is back in Florida safe and sound but tired from the trip - he saw Ariel over three days and was before the judge but I think he should be the one to spill the beans on that given the proceedings are still pending.
