"JPLS wanted to give his last name to Sean"

"David was in Brazil waiting to See Sean, but Sean was not there. The stepfather went out and nobody knew were they were" Until that time, David came 10 times to Brazil.

"The brazilian family didn't want to talk to NBC. And keep saying he only wants money"

They talked about Bringseanhome.org

They put the images of them playing in the swimming pool but there were people around all the time.

I think good that they could show the whole special without censure!

It is surprising that TV Record outbid Globo for the Dateline episode, if indeed this is the showing of the entire documentary. Considering that Brazil's TV market is 150 million strong, I bet NBC would make a tidy profit in licensing this showing.

Or else, I wonder what exactly TV Record will show, or whether they are really only showing partial footage from the Dateline episode. If they take the approach that they're reporting on a news item, they wouldn't have to pay NBC any licensing fees, and they could get away with showing a few takes with self-produced commentary, acknowledging that they are from the NBC's piece that was broadcast in the U.S. Also, there would be a lot of translation and production work involved, if they are planning to dub or subtitle a 2-hour long specia. On the same two hour slot, they have also programmed segments on the Haiti situation.

imagine what would happen if globo had gotten their hands on it. after all silvana and les are their darlings!!

that's because she's been the puppetmaster all along!! there wasn't one move or motion, from the original abduction to last the court proceeding and appeal, that didn't have her fingerprints on it!!

The two wrong translations that I got: "David called Sean dad" Something like this, and "the brazilian family arrived half a hour late to bring Sean to David". They were earlier to have time for the street show. Roberta

I'm so glad they're airing the show in its entirety.  I would think hearing Bruna's own words makes it a teensy bit more difficult for the Brazilian family to deny the truth.
