Good friend's teaching English in Tokyo. Sent me some birthday items from various stores in Japan, in which the owners/manufacturers tried valiantly to get the proper English translation...  Big Grin

1. New Japanese DVD (with subtitles) of the Disney classic - SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN PYGMIES

2. A store-bought card expressing true love - poem entitled "My Heart is Flammable"

3. A kid's T-shirt with a big thumbs up imprint of Uncle Sam with the caption "Future Dictator"

My ribs still hurt from laughing so hard.....

Oh it goes FAR beyond sales merchandise! She went into a small eatery in Tokyo and looked at the beer/drinks list. Column A said "Sodas", Column B said "Drunkard's Beverages".  Big Grin
