Guess what!

Guess what everyone! On March 4, 2011 I received the most beautiful phone call in the world!!!!!!!!! It was from our precious Jessica in Puebla. After nearly (11) yrs., we connected through Facebook and we have been bonding and laughing and laughing and laughing with each phone call. I feel so complete again to have our darling Jessica back in our lives....We look forward to a visit from Jessica in the summer - a lot of tears I bet....but very happy tears. Love you so much Jessica. Your Nana and Papa

All this time Mexico's police were "searching" and you found each other on FaceBook?!

Ahh well, I'm very happy for you and your family. Truly wonderful news. It sounds like, at the very least, she hasn't been taught bad things about her nana and dad :biggrin

Does your granddaughter still speak English?

I am thrilled for you all. I have thought about you so much and your story book ending is one everyone here dreams of. Please keep us appraised of how everything goes and pictures would be great too Facebook IS a tool for good, when things like this happen. After years of heartbreak, a happy outcome. So wonderful!! Hi Carlos and Diane,

Thank you so much for your kind support. I can hardly breathe at times. It's as though time has stood still. Jessica has so many memories she has brought up on each phone call. Carlos, her English seems to improve during the phone calls and she is hungry to learn more. She told me that after one of the calls, she looked up a word in Spanish to learn the correct English word. She apologizes for her English at the beginning of each phone call.

The very first phone call to me from Jessica was.... "Hi nana, this is Jessica and I love Puebla"
I responded with how happy I am to learn that she was happy. I then suggested holidays and summer vacations with us and she was ecstatic!

My wish is that EVERYONE experience such happiness and soon!

Got to wipe a tear away right now...
