Appeal Lodged - Florida Supreme Court

I lodged notice to invoke the jurisdiction of the Florida Supreme Court today - I was hoping to be able to appeal directly to the Federal Court but I believe I cannot until I exhaust all appellate methods in Florida - so here goes nothing (well another $300 actually but who's counting).

So, for me who knows practically nothing about courts...what wait time is there typically to get a hearing on a case in Florida?

I don't know - it took 5 years for the trial court to rule and 18 months for the Appellate court - I just want to get past the Supreme Court so I can get into Federal but I can't bypass it

Received notification from the Florida Supreme Court - the case has been accepted and we're off.

Have to file a brief on jurisdiction this week.
