I am about to file for my writ of certiorari for review by the US Supreme Court.
I am writing to ask if you will file an amicus brief in support of Supreme Court review.
I am focusing on:
Emily being denied medical treatment by the Floridian courts and letting her go blind in defiance of the Hague Convention order;
The continued retention of Emily in Florida after they found she had been abducted from the UK; and
the interference in due process rights by the US Government in helping remove Emily from the UK to the US and commenced hiding her while misusingtheir powers to keep me out of court, out of the country and arresting me when i was able to get here.
I am looking for argument which runs along the line of - as victims (either child victims or left-behind parents) you expect the United States to adhere to high standards, to set a moral and actual example, how difficult it has been for you in dealing with foreign courts whose position is that your child cannot be returned to the US because of, for instance, lack of fairness, concern over child protection, concern over access to the US courts - particularly, how the treatment meted out to Emily & I has contributed to making it harder for you to recover your child back to the US. Of course, anything else you may think of which is relevant to what has happened.
A draft (which is unfinished is attached) - I will be filing on Friday, but amicus briefs do not need to be filed until November 7th - there is no cost to you, and I will do the technicalities such as formatting and even writing it if you need that done. If you are in contact with others who are also willing to do this, I will be very grateful if you will get them in contact with me, especially legal organizations, advocate groups, official agencies.
This is my last shot at getting relief here guys and we need your help.
