Whats the difference between thw international abduction board and the Child board?
 Reason I ask is it specifically names the child.

The term child is used to designate a subforum or a forum that is lower in hierarchy. It is a technical term and is purely a coincidence that each subforum discusses a different child. If this forum was about vehicles, the child boards might be about SUV, sedan, coupe, etc.
