I waited nearly 11 months before finally an appellate court judge ruled (and then had to force) to overturn a judges rule that it was not in Noan's best interests to see his father. I see Noan 15 minutes a night, sometimes more before my wife (or her mother) will finish the session even as Noan says he wants more.
My case, and as far as I know another being heard by the same judge in Rio are just sitting and waiting for our judge to work out what to do. The year anniversary of Noan being taken was earlier this week. That is a whole year, much less than others have already lost, but more time than anyone should ever have to be extorted over their child. The new computer system they are trying to use for all Federal cases is abysmal. I cannot access half the details of my case, the AGU went months with no access and I don't know if they still have access (or if they care). And it is not just my case , it appears every single Federal case trying to use this system have the same problem.
I can tell you. I simply cannot wait for the World Cup and the Olympics to start. Forget about the poor LBP wanting to show how nothing in Brasil works and how it still remains for all intents and purposes 3rd world. The country will make a great display of that during these events. If they can't get their own Judicial computer system to work what will they do when the world comes to try and get something to work in Brasil, It will be an embarrassment for Brasilians all over the world.
And this is my growing little man. The moment when he says 'God Bless you Dad" after I sneeze lifted my spirits so much. He will never forget and he will never want to forget his Dad. She will never take that way from him. Never.
