I really appreciate the speeches from Mrs. Lois Brown and Mrs. Jinny Sims in the Canadian House of Commons last week. It is important that there is direct involvement by the Canadian Prime Minister in this case as I believe it will take his VOICE and STRONG STATEMENT directed to the Polish Government to understand the seriousness of International Child Abductions.

Since I have had the pleasure to live in Polish Society for the last 3 weeks, I NOW understand that in their culture, it seems socially ACCEPTABLE for Polish parents to kidnap their children, back and forth.

I believe a statement directed from a leader from another country, such as Canada, will capture the attention of Polish Government and Society - so that they can understand, in most countries of the world, International Child Abductions and parents kidnapping their children is NOT socially acceptable. I had met other Polish families, while I was in Poland, living through the same nightmare within their own country.

Please help me to fulfill my "Christmas Wish". I am asking the Prime Minister of Canada to make a STATEMENT on my sons International Child Abduction case to raise awareness in Poland to NOT only help return my Abducted sons BUT ALSO to bring awareness to the Polish People that this type of behaviour should NOT be condoned within their society.

A whole lot of nothing to give the impression that something is being done so that everyone will go back to watching tv and thinking that the issue is on its way to being resolved. 

As years go by I see people I haven't seen for a year or more who are shocked that my son is still in Mexico.  They can't believe something so simple could drag on so long without someone stepping in and doing something.

With a few notable exceptions, no one is really doing anything meaningful to change the status quo in these cases.  Most of the rhetoric you hear, and all of it from the State Department, is governmental "damage control" and politics to keep the issue from gaining any real momentum.

its all got to do with the monetary gain. There is none to gain in having children returned right away  . But there is in dragging it out for years with no good outcome for the LBP. Look at the economic gain through lawyer involvement AND  all the Govt. employment through the OCI tHAT THE American Goverment can show the US people, even though they really have done nothing but employ. But than again , it all mattters which side of the table your speaking from ...
